The canal house
Steep stairs, narrow hallways and a bel-étage with tall windows onto the water. Check the package dimensions and weight before carrying the tree upstairs, and follow the assembly instructions for your model. A slender 210 or 240 cm Waterloo fits perfectly in front of the window.

Melchior is one of the Three Kings, who brought their gifts at Epiphany, the feast the Dutch call Driekoningen. What is the most beautiful and realistic artificial Christmas tree?
For realism, choose a tree with PE tips. At Maison Melchior, those are the Waterloo and the Monaco: their needles are moulded from real branches. The Monaco is the fullest, the Waterloo the most slender.
Will an artificial tree fit up the steep stairs of my canal house?
Before ordering, check the package dimensions and weight and measure your stairs and doorways. Assembly varies by model; follow the product information and manufacturer’s instructions.

A snow-covered tree such as the Fuji or the Monaco flocked LED needs little decoration and suits a light, modern interior. A green tree is more classic and lets your baubles do the talking.
Is an artificial Christmas tree fire-safe?
Keep the tree away from fireplaces, candles and other heat sources. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions; an artificial tree does not provide protection against fire.
